Wattakka (curried pumpkin)

Ingredients:
450 gramsPumpkin
25 gramsOnion
2 Fresh chillies
4 Cloves garlic
50 mlOil
-sprig curry leaves
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspBlack pepper
1/4 tspTurmeric
350 mlThin coconut milk
100 mlThick coconut milk
25 gramsGround rice
1 tspGround mustard
-pinch curry powder
1/2 tspLime juice
Procedures:
1Wash the pumpkin and cut the top quarter off.
2Scoop out the flesh to within 2 cm of sides and cube.
3Put the shell on one side for using later.
4Slice the onion and chilli and crush the garlic.
5Heat the oil and fry the onion and chilli together with the curry leaves.
6When the onion is soft add the pumpkin, salt, pepper, turmeric and thin coconut milk and cook until the pumpkin is" done.
7Pour the thick coconut milk onto the ground rice, mustard and garlic and add to the pumpkin mixture, stirring as it thickens.
8Bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes.
9Remove from heat and spoon into pump- kin shell.
10Sprinkle with the curry powder and lime juice.
