Ingredients:
6 largeYams or sweet potaotes
1/4 cupButter
1/4 cupBrown sugar
2 tspLemon peel -- grated
1 tbspLemon juice
1/2 tspSalt
1/3 cupBrown sugar
1/2 cupSlivered almonds
Procedures:
1Wash yams; drain but do not dry.
2Set in slow-cooking pot.
3Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours (depending on size and shape).
4Cool, peel and place in large bowl.
5Mash until smooth.
