Ingredients:

| cup | Butter Or Regular Margarine | | 3
| tsp | Unbleached Flour | | 1 1/2
| cup | Milk, Heated | | 1
| cup | Cheddar, Sharp, Shredded | | 1
| cup | Ham, Cooked, Diced | | 1
| tbsp | Onion Flakes | | 2
| cup | Potatoes, Cooked, Sliced | | 1
| tbsp | Parsley, Minced |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat the oven to 400 °F. | | 2 | Butter a 2-qt casserole and set aside. | | 3 | Melt the 3 tb of butter in a 2-quart saucepan, on moderate heat, and add the flour; cooking for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. | | 4 | Add the milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. | | 5 | Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted. | | 6 | Remove from the heat and stir in the ham and onion flakes. | | 7 | Stir in 1 cup of potato slices. | | 8 | Pour into the prepared casserole. | | 9 | Arrange the remaining potato slices on the top of the ham mixture. | | 10 | Melt the remaining butter and brush on the potato slices. | | 11 | Sprinkle with the minced parsley and bake for 20 minutes or until heated through. | | 12 | Serve hot |
