Ham and mac bake

Ingredients:
3 1/2 ozElbow macaroni (1-cup)
1/4 cupButter or margarine
1/4 cupAll-purpose flour
2 tbspBrown sugar
2 tbspPrepared mustard
14 tspSalt
Dash pepper
2 cupMilk
2 cupCubed, fully cooked ham
2 medApples, peeled & thinly
- sliced (2-cups)
2 tbspButter or margarine, melted
Procedures:
1Cook macaroni in boiling salted water till just tender, 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
2In large saucepan melt the ?cup butter; blend in flour, brown sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
3Add milk all at once; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
4Stir in cooked macaroni, ham and apple slices.
5Turn mixture into a 2-qt casserole.
6Combine bread crumbs and the 2-tb melted butter; sprinkle over casserole.
7Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for about 35 minutes
