Ham balls with brown sugar sauce

Ingredients:
3 cupGROUND HAM (1 ?LBS.)
1 cupQUICK COOKING OATS, UNCOOKED
1/4 tspCINNAMON
1/4 tspGROUND CLOVES
2 eachLARGE EGGS, SLIGHTLY BEATEN
1/2 cupMILK
2 tbspPREPARED MUSTARD
1/3 cupBROWN SUGAR **
3 tbspVINEGAR **
1 tbspCORNSTARCH **
1/4 tspCINNAMON **
Procedures:
1** ingredients used in sauce Preheat oven to 400°F.
2In a large bowl, with hands, lightly mix ham ball ingredients and ?teaspoon pepper until combined.
3Shape into 12 balls, dividing evenly.
4Arrange in a shallow pan; bake, uncovered, at 400°F. for 15 minutes.
5Meanwhile, make the sauce.
6In a small saucepan, bring the brown sugar, cinnamon, vinegar and 1 ?cups water to a boil.
7Simmer for 5 minutes.
8In a small dish, mix cornstarch with ?cup water until well blended.
9Stir into sauce mixture.
10Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
11Simmer 1 minute until thickened.
12Pour over ham and bake for 30 minutes longer.
13Baste occasionally with sauce mixture.
