Hamburger / ground meat balti

Ingredients:
2 lbsGround meat (hamburger, or
-other mince)
3 tbspVegetable oil
4 Garlic cloves, chopped
8 ozOnion, chopped
1 tbspTomato paste
4 tbspBalti masala paste
1 tbspGaram masala (optional)
1 tbspFresh coriander leaves
-chopped
Procedures:
1Stir-fry the minced meat in the wok for 8-12 minutes.
2Strain off and save the liquid.
3Set the meat aside.
4Add the oil to the wok and stir-fry the garlic very quickly: then add onion, reduce heat and stir-fry for 10 minutes, until translucent.
5Add balti paste and garam masala (if you"re using it).
6Raise heat again and stir-fry for another few minutes.
7Then add the mince to the mixture in the wok and continue stir-frying a few minutes more.
8Lower heat and simmer uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
9Every now and then, add some of the reserved liquid to help keep the mixture from sticking.
10When cooked, add coriander leaves to taste. serve
