Ingredients:
6 medYams -- cook, peel, quarter
1/2 cupLight corn syrup -- or dark
1/2 cupFirmly packed light brown
Sugar
1/4 cupEvaporated skim milk
1 tspButter
1/4 tspSalt
1/2 tspCinnamon
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 325°F.
2Arrange yams in single layer in 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
3Bake 15 min. meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a med. saucepan.
4Stirring constantly, bring to boil over med. heat, boilf for 5 min. por over yams.
5Return dish to oven and bake, basting frequently, for at least 15 min.
