Ingredients:
2 cupChili Con Carne, Leftover
Home Made Or Canned
1 1/2 cupCheddar Cheese, Shredded
1/2 cupRed Table Wine
1 1/2 lbsLean Ground Beef
1/2 tspSalt
2 tbspOnion, Grated
4 sliceFrench Bread, Toasted
Procedures:
1In a small saucepan, combine the chili, cheese, and wine.
2Heat at the edge of the grill, stirring now and then, until the cheese is melted and blended into the chili.
3Meanwhile mix the beef, salt and onion.
4Shape into 4 patties, each about 1-inch thick.
5Grill 3 to 4 inches above hot coals until done as desired, 10 to 12 minutes for medium-rare.
6Place on the slices of toasted french bread and spoon the chili mixture over them
