Ham & cheese chowder

Ingredients:
2 cupDiced, cooked potatoes
1 cupChopped onion
3 tbspButter
3 tbspFlour
Salt
Pepper
3 cupMilk
1 1/2 cupChopped ham
1 1/2 cupGrated cheddar cheese
1 Small can cream-style corn
Procedures:
1In large pan, cook potatoes and onion in boiling water until onions are tender.
2Drain liquid except for 1 cup which remains in the pan with the potato mixture.
3In small pan, melt butter.
4Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
5Add flour mixture to potatoes and onions.
6Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
7(watch carefully to avoid mixture sticking to pan).
8Add milk, ham, cheese and cream-style corn.
9Stir over medium heat until cheese melts
