Ingredients:

| | Onions | | | HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE | | 1/4
| cup | Honey, liquid | | 1
| tsp | Soy sauce | | 1
| tsp | Mustard, Dijon | | | BROWN SUGAR GLAZE VARIATION | | 1/2
| cup | Brown sugar - packed | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | | -2 Tbsp water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut off tops and botooms of onions, remove skin. | | 2 | Place onions in saucepan and add enough water to come to depth of 1". | | 3 | Cover and bring to a boil. | | 4 | Reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes. | | 5 | Drain and transfer onions to small greased casserole. | | 6 | Honey-mustard sauce: in small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce and mustard; cook over medium heat, stirring for 5 minutes. | | 7 | Pour over onions and bake, uncovered in 350f oven, basting occaisionally, for 30 to 40 minutes till heated through and glazed. | | 8 | Cut each onion in half to serve. | | 9 | Variation: brown sugar glaze. | | 10 | In small saucepan, combine ?cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp water, cook as above and pour over onions before baking. | | 11 | Source : _canadian living"s country cooking_ |
