Ingredients:

| cup | White vinegar | | 1/2
| cup | Soy sauce | | 1/2
| cup | Brown sugar, firmly packed | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground ginger (I like to use | | | -fresh ginger) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place pork loin or butt in a 5-quart kettle. | | 2 | In a bowl, mix together vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and ginger. | | 3 | Pour over pork, cover and simmer approximately 3 hours or until pork is tender when pierced with a fork. | | 4 | This is one of my old tried and true recipes. | | 5 | The original recipe card is so faded that i can hardly read it! i like to serve this with hot rice |
