Ingredients:

| cup | Flour | | 2
| tbsp | Milk | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1
| cup | Butter | | 1
| tsp | Almond extract | | 1
| | Egg (beaten) | | | Sliced or slivered almonds |

Procedures:
| 1 | Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. | | 2 | Roll dough into 1 inch balls (or rounded teaspoons) onto ungreased cookie sheet. | | 3 | Flatten with thumb. | | 4 | Top with almonds. | | 5 | Bake at 325°F for 8-10 minutes. | | 6 | Makes 5 dozen. | | 7 | Enjoy! |
