| 1 | Beat cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until softened. |

| 8 | Stir in ?cup sugar and vanilla. |
| 9 | Beat in 2 eggs. |
| 10 | Stir in ?cup flour, baking powder and salt. |
| 11 | Add remaining chopped almonds. |
| 12 | Spread cheese batter on top. |
| 13 | Garnish with whole almonds. |
| 14 | Bake for 40 minutes until cake tester comes out clean, don"t overbake. |
| 15 | Melt remaining square of chocolate and drizzle over the brownies. |
| 16 | Cool in pan. |
| 17 | Cut into squares. |
| 18 | Recipe can be doubled. |
