Almond double chip cookies

Ingredients:
3/4 cupButter or margarine
-softened
3/4 cupPacked light brown sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tbspAlmond extract
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 tbspBaking soda
Ds Salt
1 cupSemisweet chocolate chips
1 cupVanilla milk chips
1/2 cupSlivered blanched almonds
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 375°F.
2Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or leave ungreased.
3Beat butter and brown sugar in large bowl until creamy.
4Beat in egg and almond extract.
5Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
6Blend in butter mixture.
7Stir in semisweet and vanilla milk chips and almonds.
8Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 3" apart, onto prepared cookie sheets.
9Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown.
10Do not overbake.
11Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
12Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
