Hobgoblin stew

Ingredients:
2 tbspFlour
1 1/2 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
1 lbsBeef stew meat
3 tbspVegetable oil
1/4 cupChopped onion
3 cupWater
1/2 tspGarlic powder
1 tspThyme
1 tspCoriander
2 Potatoes, peeled and cubed
6 Carrots, peeled and sliced
-into rounds
1 cupFrozen peas, thawed
1/2 cupEvaporated milk
Procedures:
1Preparation time: 20 minutes cooking time: 1 hour, 20 minutes utensils: measuring cups and spoons, utility knife, plate, saucepan with cover, mixing spoon, can opener.
2On plate, combine flour, salt and pepper; set aside.
3Cut meat into bite-size cubes, then roll in flour mixture to coat.
4Reserve flour mixture.
5Heat vegetable oil in saucepan set on stove top over medium-low heat.
6Add meat and brown, stirring occasionally with mixing spoon, then sprinkle in remaining flour mixture.
7Add onion; cook until limp.
8Add water, garlic powder, thyme and coriander; bring to boil.
9Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour.
10After 1 hour, add potatoes, carrots and additional water as needed.
11Cover and cook 10 minutes.
12Add peas and continue to cook about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
13Stir in evaporated milk.
14Heat through, but do not boil.
15To serve, pour into hollowed-out pumpkin shell decorated to look like a spooky jack-o"-lantern
