Chewy brownie cookies

Ingredients:
2/3 cupCrisco shortening
1 1/2 cupPacked light brown sugar
1 tbspWater
1 tbspVanilla extract
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1/3 cupHERSHEY'S Cocoa
1/2 tbspSalt
1/4 tbspBaking soda
2 cupHERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet
Chocolate Chips (12 oz pkg)
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 375°F.
2Place length of foil on flat surface.
3In large bowl, beat shortening, brown sugar, water and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
4Add eggs; beat well.
5Stir together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda.
6Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating on low speed just until blended.
7Stir in chocolate chips.
8Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
9Bake 7-9 minutes, or until cookies are set.
10Cookies will appear soft and moist.
11Do not overbake.
12Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to foil.
13Cool completely.
14Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
