Hoisin grilled pork loin with braised cabbage

Ingredients:
1 Pork loin, boneless, eye of
-the loin
MARINADE
2 cupHoisin sauce
1 tspCajun spice
2 Blood Oranges, Juice Only
1 tbspCatsup
1/3 cupVegetable oil
1 Garlic, smashed
1 Cracked peppercorns
1 Bay leaf
BRAISED CABBAGE SLAW
1/2 cupBacon, minced
1 cupRed onion, minced
1/3 cupRed wine vinegar
1/3 cupWhite wine
1 quartSavoy cabbage, shredded
1 quartRed cabbage, shredded
1 cupGranny smith apples, peeled
- diced
2 cupChicken stock
1 Salt, pepper, chopped
-parsley
1 Brown sugar and caraway seed
Procedures:
1Pork loin: mix all of the ingredients for the marinade and spread on the pork loin at least one hour before grilling.
2Place loin on hot grill and grill, turning every 10 minutes or so, until an instant read meat thermometer indicates almost done.
3Remove from the grill and cover lightly with foil for about 10 minutes before carving.
4Braised cabbage: Render the bacon until it is crisp.
5Add the onions and the cabbage.
6Saute for 5 minutes.
7Add the vinegar, wine, stock, apples and herbs.
8Cover and braise for 20 minutes.
9Adjust the seasoning.
10Serve with slice grilled pork loin
