Ingredients:

| pack | Yellow cake mix | | 1
| | Egg | | 1/3

| | Eggs | | 1
| cup | Corn syrup | | 1/4
| cup | Butter or margarine, melted | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2
| cup | Pecans, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Recipe by: sue klapper preparation time: 0:55 preheat oven to 350. | | 2 | For crust, combine cake mix, egg and oil in a medium bowl. | | 3 | Press mixture into bottom of a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. | | 4 | Bake 20 minutes. | | 5 | For filling, beat sugar, eggs, and salt in a large bowl until well blended. | | 6 | Beat in corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla. | | 7 | Stir in pecans. | | 8 | Pour over hot crust. | | 9 | Bake at 350 30 to 35 minutes or until brown around edges and center is set. | | 10 | Cool completely. | | 11 | Cut into 1 - ?inch squares. | | 12 | Yield: about 3 dozen squares. |
