Ingredients:

| tbsp | Shortening | | 3
| tbsp | Butter or margarine | | 1/3
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 3/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground ginger | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 3
| lbs | Chicken | | 1/3
| cup | Honey | | 1/3
| cup | Chili sauce | | 1/3
| cup | Soy sauce | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground ginger |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 425°F. | | 2 | Heat shortening and butter in baking pan, 13x9x2 inches, in oven until melted. | | 3 | Mix flour, salt, ?teaspoon ginger and the pepper. | | 4 | Coat chicken pieces thoroughly with flour mixture. | | 5 | Place chicken skin sides down in pan. | | 6 | Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. | | 7 | Turn chicken; bake 15 minutes. | | 8 | Remove chicken. | | 9 | Drain fat; line pan with aluminum foil. | | 10 | Return chicken to pan. | | 11 | Mix honey, chili sauce and ?teaspoon ginger; pour on chicken. | | 12 | Bake 15 minutes, spooning honey mixture onto chicken every five minutes. | | 13 | Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled. | | 14 | 6 servings. | | 15 | The first time i tryed this i used worcestershire sauce instead of soy sauce and it worked great |
