| 1 | Heat oven to 350 °Fahrenheit. |
| 2 | Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. |
| 3 | In large microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate and butter. |
| 4 | Microwave at high (100%) 1-?to 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. |
| 5 | Add sugar; stir with spoon until well blended. |
| 6 | Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. |
| 7 | Add flour and nuts, if desired; stir until well blended. |
| 8 | Spread into prepared pan. |
| 9 | Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. |
| 10 | Cool completely in pan on wire rack. |
| 11 | Frost with quick & easy chocolate frosting, if desired. |
| 12 | Cut into squares. |
| 13 | About 24 brownies. |
| 14 | Quick & easy chocolate frosting in medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate, stirring constantly. |
| 15 | Add marshmallows; stir frequently until melted. |
| 16 | (mixture will be very thick and will pull away from sides of pan). |
| 17 | Spoon mixture into small mixer bowl; beat in butter. |
| 18 | Gradually add milk, beating until smooth. |
| 19 | Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat to desired consistency. |
| 20 | About 2-?cups frosting. |
