Raisin-oatmeal brownies

Ingredients:
3/4 cupOats, Quick-cooking Rolled
6 ozChocolate Chips, Semisweet
6 tbspButter Or Margarine
1/2 cupBrown Sugar, Packed
2 ea Eggs, Large
1 tbspVanilla
3/4 cupFlour, Unbleached
1/2 cupRaisins
1/4 tbspBaking Soda
1/4 tbspSalt
Procedures:
1Sprinkle 2 t of the oats over bottom of greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
2In saucepan melt chocolate and butter over low heat; stir constantly.
3Remove from heat; blend in sugar.
4Beat in eggs and vanilla.
5Stir together flour, remaining oats, raisins, soda and salt; stir into chocolate mixture.
6Spoon into prepared pan.
7Bake at 325 °F.
8About 30 minutes.
9Cool; cut into bars.
10makes 24 brownies.
