| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| tbsp | Anise seed | | 3
| | Eggs, room temp. | | 1
| cup | Plus 2 tb sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift flour, measure, and sift again with baking powder. | | 2 | Beat eggs and sugar at medium for 30 minutes. | | 3 | Add flour mixture and beat 3 minutes. | | 4 | Add anise seed. | | 5 | Drop by teaspoons on greased and floured cookie sheets. | | 6 | Dry overnight. | | 7 | Bake at 325 °F. | | 8 | For 12 minutes. |
