Ingredients:
1 cupChilled whipping cream
1/4 cupPowdered sugar
1 tspVanilla
3/4 cupGround coffee
3 cupWater
1/2 cupIrish whiskey or brandy
4 tspTo 8 ts granulated sugar
Procedures:
1Beat whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla in chilled 1.5-quart bowl until stiff; refrigerate.
2Prepare coffee as directed in "about coffee", using ?cup coffee and 3 cups water.
3Heat 4 mugs or irish coffee glasses by rinsing with boiling water; drain.
4Place 2 tb whiskey and 1 to 2 ts granulated sugar in each mug; stir.
5Pour hot coffee into each mug.
6Top with whipped cream; serve immediately.
