Ingredients:
2/3 cupMilk
4 tbspButter, melted and cooled
1 tbspBrown sugar
1 cupPlain, untoasted wheat germ
1 cupWhole wheat flour, approx.
Procedures:
1Beat together the milk, butter and sugar.
2Stir in the wheat germ and enough flour to make a dough.
3Knead until smooth and satiny, about 8 to 10 minutes.
4Pinch off balls of dough and roll them into sticks about ?in. thick and 4 in. long.
5Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350°F. for about 45 minutes or until browned and hard.
