The star's scottish shortbread

Ingredients:
1 cupButter, softened
1 2/3 cupFlour, all purpose
1/3 cupRice flour
1/4 cupSugar, granulated
1/4 cupBrown sugar, packed
Procedures:
1Grease 8" round cake pan.
2Line bottom with wax paper.
3In bowl, cream butter until fluffy.
4Mix in all purpose and rice flours, and white and brown sugar with electric beater until dough is crumbly but clumps together when pressed.
5Pat evenly into prepared pan.
6Bake in preheated 352f oven 45 minutes.
7Remove from oven briefly, with sharp knife, score into 12 wedges, cutting about halfway through dough.
8Price decoratively with fork.
9Return to oven; bake about 15 minutes longer or until just lightly browned at edges.
10Cool in pan on rack 30 minutes.
11Loosen sides;invert again on cooling rack so cookie is right side up.
12Cool completely.
13Makes: 12 large wedges
