Ingredients:
3 Lb. flour
7 tspGround ginger
6 ozBlack treacle
1/4 pintMilk
6 ozDemerara sugar
1/4 lbsButter
2 ozMinced peel
1/2 tspBicarbonate'soda
1 tspCream of tartar
Procedures:
1Bara sinsir cymreig sift the flour with the bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar.
2Rub the butter into the flour and add the other dry ingredients.
3Add the treacle and milk.
4Mix well.
5Place in a greased tin and bake in a slow oven (300°F.
