Ingredients:
| 1/2
| cup | Unsalted butter, softened | | 1/3
| cup | Sugar | | 1/3
| cup | Brown sugar, packed | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 6 1/2
| oz | White chocolate, chopped | | 3/4
| cup | Macadamia nuts, halved |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 375 degrees. | | 2 | Blend butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until fluffy, stopping once to scrape down sides of bowl, about 1 minute. | | 3 | Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined. | | 4 | Do not overmix. | | 5 | Stir in white chocolate chunks and nuts. | | 6 | Mound dough by 1/3 cupfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. | | 7 | Space about 2 inches apart. | | 8 | Bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown around edges, about 15 minutes. | | 9 | Cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes, then remove to racks and cool completely. | | 10 | Store in air-tight container. | | 11 | Can be prepared ahead, store cookies up to 4 days at room temperature or freeze 3 weeks. |
