White chocolate chip cookies w/ macadamia nuts

Ingredients:
1/2 cupUnsalted butter, softened
1/3 cupSugar
1/3 cupBrown sugar, packed
1 Egg
1 tspVanilla
1 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/4 tspSalt
6 1/2 ozWhite chocolate, chopped
3/4 cupMacadamia nuts, halved
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2Blend butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until fluffy, stopping once to scrape down sides of bowl, about 1 minute.
3Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined.
4Do not overmix.
5Stir in white chocolate chunks and nuts.
6Mound dough by 1/3 cupfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
7Space about 2 inches apart.
8Bake at 375 degrees until lightly brown around edges, about 15 minutes.
9Cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes, then remove to racks and cool completely.
10Store in air-tight container.
11Can be prepared ahead, store cookies up to 4 days at room temperature or freeze 3 weeks.
