Ingredients:
3 lbsBeef Stew Meat
1 eachSalt and Pepper
1 eachFlour
1 eachOil
8 ozTomato Sauce
1 tspLemon Peel, fresh grated
2 tbspLemon Juice, fresh squeezed
2 tspWorcestershire Sauce
1 tspCelery Seed
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 tspRosemary Leaves, crushed
3 eachMed. Potatoes, peeled, cubed
2 cupCarrots, peeled and sliced
2 cupCelery, sliced diagonally
1 eachSm. Whole Onions, drained
1 packFrozen Peas, slightly thawed
2 tbspFlour
Procedures:
1Season beef with slat and pepper, lightly coat with flour, and brown in 2 parts in large skillet.
2Pour off fat, put meat in crock pot.
3Add everything except last 3 ingredients.
4Cover and cook on low 8 - 10 hours.
5Add onions and peas and cook 1 - 2 hours longer.
6Gradually blend ?c water into the 2 t flour.
7Add to stew mixture and cook on high, stirring until thickened
