| cup | Carrots, diced | | 1/2
| cup | Celery, diced | | 2
| cup | Potatoes, diced | | 1
| lbs | Can whole kernel corn | | | -undrained | | 1
| lbs | Can tomatoes or home canned | | | -cut up | | 2
| | Turnips, peeled and finely | | | -ch |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place the meat, water, salts, onions, carrots and celery in crock pot. | | 2 | Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. | | 3 | Remove bones, chop meat and return to pot. | | 4 | Add potatoes, corn, tomatoes and turnips. | | 5 | Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours more. | | 6 | Serves 10-12. |
