Ingredients:
1 tbspVegetable oil
1 cupChopped onions
1 cupSliced celery
8 ozTomato sauce
1/2 cupWater
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspHot pepper sauce
- (or more, to taste)
3 cupCooked or canned pinto beans
- (OR any type of bean)
-- drained
3 cupHot cooked brown rice
Procedures:
1In large skillet, cook onions and celery in oil until tender.
2Stir in tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and beans.
3Heat thoroughly.
4Serve over hot rice.
