Sandine's Fettucine with Tomatoes

Ingredients:
1 lbsFettucine
2 lbsTomatoes
8 Bacon strips
2 Onion, large
2 tspThyme, fresh
2 tspOregano, fresh
4 tbspOlive oil
8 tbspParmesan cheese, grated
Procedures:
1Cook the fettucine in boiling water according to instructions - until "Al Dente".
2Chop the onion and bacon strips into 1/2 inch square chips.
3Chop the fresh thyme and oregano.
4Slice the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Cut into 1/2 inch square chips.
5In a frying pan, saute the bacon and onion cubes in olive oil. Toss in the herbs and continue sauteeing.
6Add the tomato cubes and saute for 30 seconds. Add the fettucine pasta and grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
7Serve with additional Parmesan cheese on the side.
