Apple Walnut Pie

Ingredients:
1 9 inch prepared pie crust
Filling:
4 cupchopped apples
2 tbsplemon juice
1 cupwalnuts, chopped
3/4 cupbrown sugar
1/2 cuphoney
Topping:
4 tbspbutter, softened
3 tbspflour, all-purpose
3 tbspchopped walnuts
3 tbspbrown sugar
Procedures:
1Preheat oven at 375°F for about 8 minutes.
2Toss chopped apples with lemon juice.
3Mix together walnuts, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon powder or nutmeg (optional).
4Place apples inthe prepared shell.
5Pour honey evenly over all filling. Cover with aluminum foil.
6Bake at 375°F for about 35 minutes.
7For the topping, mix together chopped walnuts, brown sugar, flour and butter.
8Remove the pie from the oven and top with the topping mix.
9Bake another 10-15 minutes or until apples are soft and topping is light brown.
10. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
