| each | egg yolk | | 1
| tbsp | cooking oil | | 1
| tbsp | confectioner's sugar | | 1
| pinch | salt | | 2
| tbsp | rum | | 1/3
| cup | water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Mix the egg yolk, flour, oil, rum, confectioner's sugar, salt, and water. Set aside for 2 minutes. | | 2 | Peel the bananas and slice in half - lengthwise. | | 3 | Coat the banana slices in the rum batter, then deep fry in hot oil for about 2-4 minutes, until golden brown. Arrange in a serving dish. Top with a little powdered sugar, if desired. | | 4 | In a small sauce pan, bring a cup of rum to a boil.
