Four Quarters Cake

Ingredients:
3 largeeggs
1/3 lbssugar
1/3 lbsflour
1/3 lbsbutter - melted
1 tspbaking powder
1 xpinch of salt
1 tspvanilla extract
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 375 F (about 180 C).
2Place eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat the eggs and sugar to a cream.
3Stir in the butter and vanilla extract - mix well.
4Add the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well until the batter is rich and consistent.
5Pour into a greased cake mold, then bake in the oven for about 30 - 40 minutes. Check if it is cooked by inserting a knife in the center. If the knife comes out clean, then the cake is done.
6Remove from oven when cooked, then let it cool for about an hour or two. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
7Before serving, remove cake from the mold. Use a knife to loosen the edges - the cake should come through easily.
