Ingredients:
3 lbsBeef Brisket, diced
2 clGarlic, minced
1 tspBlack pepper
2 tbspCumin
1 tspGinger
1 tbspRed Pepper
1 smallCan tomato paste
1 1/2 cupBoiling water
1 Tomato, FC
4 ozCan V8 juice
3/4 cupOnion, diced
1 tbspSalt
3 tbspChili Powder
1 tbspPaprika
1 tbspDry Mustard
1 tspOregano
1 largeCan tomato sauce
1/2 Can cheap beer
1 Jalapeno, FC
Procedures:
1Only use brisket.
2Do not use ground beef.
3The best chili is made from slow simmered brisket.
4Brown the brisket with a little oil.
5Drain and remove meat.
6Saute onion and garlic in the left over oil.
7Add all the spices and let pan roast.
8Add the beef back to the pot and add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, v8 juice, tomato, jalapeno, and beer.
9Cover and simmer for 3 hr.
10Add more beer if chili gets too dry.
