Lamb chops and peaches with lime sauce

Ingredients:
1 canPeach halves (29 oz)
1 cupPeach syrup
1/2 cupLime juice
1/2 tbspGrated lime peel
1 tbspGround ginger
6 eachLamb loin -OR-
1 x12 rip chops, cut 1-inch thi
1 xSalt
1 xPepper
Procedures:
1Drain peaches, reserving syrup.
2In small saucepan, combine syrup with lime juice, peel and ginger.
3Heat thoroughly.
4Sprinkle lamb with salt and pepper.
5Broil 3 to 4 inches from source of heat 5 to 7 minutes per side, brushing frequently with lime sauce.
6Broil peach halves 5 minutes, basting with lime sauce
