| tbsp | Flour | | 2
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 2/3
| cup | Bouillon or 1/3 cup water | | | With 1/3 cup tomato juice | | | Salt and pepper | | 1
| lbs | Cooked beef | | | Bread crumbs |

Procedures:
| 1 | Slice onions and brown in fat. | | 2 | Add flour and brown. | | 3 | Then add vinegar, bouillon or water and tomato juice. | | 4 | Cook together until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. | | 5 | Season with salt and pepper. | | 6 | Simmer sliced or cubed beef in sauce a few minutes. | | 7 | Pour into baking dish, sprinkle with crumbs and bake in a hot hoven (400°F) for 10 minutes. |
