Ingredients:

| | Vanilla bean, splil lenghth | | | -wise | | 1 3/4
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| cup | Water | | 1/4
| cup | Instant coffee | | 1/2
| pint | Brandy |

Procedures:
| 1 | Drop bean into vessel. | | 2 | Mix coffee and sugar, pout into vessel. | | 3 | Boil water and add to mix. | | 4 | Shake well. | | 5 | Add brandy and shake well again. | | 6 | Allow to sit about one month. | | 7 | To quadruple recipe use 1 liter of brandy |
