Ingredients:

| cup | Rolled oats | | 1
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 1/4
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| cup | Brown sugar | | 1/2
| cup | Shortening | | 1 1/4
| cup | Mincemeat | | 1
| tbsp | Rum |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine rolled oats, flour, baking soda, salt and sugar. | | 2 | Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. | | 3 | Firmly press half of this mixture into an 8 inch square pan. | | 4 | Spread evenly with mincemeat, flavoured with rum. | | 5 | Top with remaining crumb mixture, packing down firmly with fingers. | | 6 | Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes |
