Poached Plums with Mascarpone Cheese

Ingredients:
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 450 ml Water
  • 900 g Fresh plums
  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Caster sugar to taste
Procedures:
Put the sugar and water into a saucepan and bring to the boil slowly. Tip
in the plums, cover the saucepan and poach until they begin to burst. Turn
into a bowl and serve warm with some sweetened mascarpone cheese melting
over the top.
