Ingredients:
10 cupOld Fashioned Rolled Oats
1/2 lbsShredded Coconut
1 cupSesame Seeds
1 1/2 cupBrown Sugar, Firmly Packed
1 1/2 cupVegetable Oil
1/2 cupMolasses
2 tspCinnamon
Raisins Or Other Dried Fruit
1 cupWheat Germ
2 cupShelled Raw Sunflower Seeds
3 cupChopped Nuts
1 1/2 cupWater
1/2 cupHoney
1 1/2 tspSalt
3 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 300 °F.

3In a large bowl combine oats, wheat germ, coconut, sunflower seeds, sesame seed and nuts ( can include almonds, pecans, walnuts, or a combination of all of them).
4Blend well.
5In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, water, oil, honey, molasses, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.
6Heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not boil.
7Pour the syrup over the dry ingredients and stir until well-coated.
8Spread onto five 13 x 9-inch baking pans, or cookie sheets with sides.
9Bake 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
10Bake 15 minutes longer for crunchier texture.
11Cool.
12Add raisins or other dried fruit, if desired.
13Put in airtight containers and label as granola mix.
14Store in a cool dry place and use within 6 months.
15Makes about 20 cups of mix
