Beef with yogurt in pita bread (fetes vodines)

Ingredients:
1/2 cupDry red wine
2 tbspOlive or vegetable oil
2 tspMinced garlic
1/2 tspDried oregano
1/2 tspSalt
1 dashOf pepper
1 lbsBeef flank steak
1 tbspButter or margarine
4 Pitas
3 cupChopped lettuce
1 cupPeeled, seeded and diced
-cucumber
1 cupChopped tomato
1 cupPlain yogurt
Procedures:
1Serves 4 combine wine, oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
2Cut steak into strips, 2-inches by ?inch wide, or as thin as possible.
3Pour wine marinade over beef strips, and let stand for 1 hour at room temperature.
4Drain meat strips and cook, in two batches, in hot butter, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown on all sides.
5Serve meat in a chafing dish or on a hot tray to keep warm.
6Open one end of pita to make a pocket.
7Set out dishes of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and yogurt.
8Allow each person to fill his own pita
