Greek easter cookies

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cupFlour
1 1/4 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
1/2 cupButter, softened
1 cupPowdered Sugar
1 Egg
2 tbspBrandy or Milk
1 tspVanilla
1 Egg Yolk +
1 tbspMilk beaten together
3 tbspSesame Seeds
Procedures:
1In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt and set aside.
2In a large bowl combine butter and sugar, beating until fluffy.
3Add egg, brandy, vanilla and beat well after each addition.
4Add flour mixture / cup at a time blending will after each addition.
5Roll 1 teaspoon of dough on a lightly floured surface into a 6 inch rope, fold in half and twist 2 or 3 times, pinch ends together.
6Place 1 inch apart on 3 greased cookie sheets.
7Brush with egg/milk mixture.
8Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9Bake 10-13 minutes in a preheated 375°F oven until golden.
10Cool on rack.
11Store in an air tight container at room temperature.
12Makes 4/ dozen cookies.
