| cup | Powdered Sugar | | 2
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2
| tsp | Brandy | | 4 1/2
| cup | Flour | | 1
| cup | Blanched Almonds or Walnuts | | | -finely chopped | | 4
| cup | Powdered Sugar (addition fo | | | -dusting) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Whip butter until light and fluffy. | | 2 | Slowly add powdered sugar, vanilla and brandy. | | 3 | Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time and fold in nuts. | | 4 | Use a teaspoon amount and shape into balls, ovals or cresents. | | 5 | Place on ungreased cookie sheets (will not spread). | | 6 | Bake 20 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven. | | 7 | Do not brown. | | 8 | Sift powdered sugar on plate and coat cookies completely while warm. | | 9 | Makes 75 cookies. |
