Kotta pilafi (chicken pilaf)

Ingredients:
6 Chicken breasts (about 3
-pounds)
1/4 cupButter
1 medOnion, finely chopped
1 1/2 cupCanned tomatoes
2 cupWater
1 tspGround cinnamon
Salt and pepper
1 cupUncooked rice
Dairy sour cream
Procedures:
1Saute chicken breasts in butter until golden brown.
2Add onion, tomatoes, water, cinnamon, and salt and pepper to taste.
3Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
4Add rice and stir to mix evenly.
5Cover and simmer for an additional 20 minutes, or until rice is tender, adding more water if necessary.
6Serve with a bowl of cold dairy sour cream, to be spooned over the hot pilaf.
