Caribou meat pie

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsGround Caribou or
1 1/2 lbsStewing meat, coarsely diced
1 medOnion, chopped
1 clGarlic, minced
3 tbspOil
2 cupWater
2 tbspWorcestershire sauce
1 tspMarjoram
1 tspThyme
1 tspCelery seed
1 tspSalt
1/2 tspPepper
1 Bay leaf
1 lbsDiced potatoes
1 Diced carrot
2 tbspFlour
1/2 cupGreen peas
Pie crust
Procedures:
1Saute meat, garlic and onions in heated oil in a large skillet, until meat has browned.
2Transfer to a large saucepan.
3Add water, herbs, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
4Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer ?hour if ground meat and 1 hour if cubed meat.
5Add potatoes and carrots, cook 20 minutes longer.
6Remove bay leaf; make a slurry of the flour and a little water and stir in. bring to a boil until the mixture thickens.
7Add peas.
8Remove from the heat and set aside.
9Prepare your favorite pie crust and place the bottom crust into a pie pan.
10Pour the meat mixture into the pie pan.
11Cover with pie crust, flute edge, cut slits in top.
12Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is nicely browned
