| 1 | Fill a large deep pot ?full with water. |
| 2 | Add salt and bring to a rolling boil. |
| 3 | Add pasta slowly, without breaking the boil. |
| 4 | Cook 10 minutes. |
| 5 | Place a colander in sink and turn pasta into it. |
| 6 | Rinse under hot running water, allowing the water to drain through the spaghetti. |
| 7 | Heat the butter in a small saucepan to a honey brown. |
| 8 | Watch it carefully for these minutes; it burns quickly and suddenly. |
| 9 | Return spaghetti to large pot and dribble hot butter over it. |
| 10 | Sprinkle with half the cheese and toss gently to mix. |
| 11 | Transfer to a large ovenproof platter, sprinkle top with more cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F. |
| 12 | Serve hot. |
