Ingredients:

| cup | Flour, whole wheat | | 1 1/2
| cup | Peas, shelled, boiled & | | | -mashed | | 2
| tsp | -Salt | | 2
| tbsp | Lime juice | | 1
| cup | Mint, fresh, or coriander | | | -leaves (cilantro), chopped | | 2
| tbsp | Ghee, or oil | | 1/2
| tsp | Pepper | | | -Water for kneading | | | Ghee, or oil for frying |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift whole wheat flour with salt. | | 2 | Rub in 2 tbsp ghee or oil. | | 3 | Add mashed peas. | | 4 | Mix thoroughly. | | 5 | Add pepper, coriander or mint with lime juice. | | 6 | Knead well. | | 7 | Divide into 8 equal portions. | | 8 | Shape them into round balls. | | 9 | Roll each ball on a floured board into a circle. | | 10 | 5" (12 cm) diameter. | | 11 | Lift each roti carefully with floured hands. | | 12 | Place on a hot griddle one at a time. | | 13 | Shallow fry with 1 or 2 tbsp ghee or oil until both sides are well cooked |
