Ingredients:
2 cupFresh basil leaves
1/2 cupParmesan cheese, grated
3/4 cupOlive oil
1/2 cupWalnuts(or pine nuts)
5 xGarlic cloves, chopped
Procedures:
1Place basil leaves in small batches in food processor and whip until well chopped( do about ?cup at a time).
2Add a third of the nuts & garlic, blend again.
3Add a third of the parmesan cheese, blend all together while slowly adding a third of the olive oil, stopping to scrape down sides of container.
4Process until it forms a thick smooth paste.
5Repeat until all ingredients are used, mix all batches together well.
6Serve over pasta.
7Keeps in refrigerator one week, or may be frozen
