Ingredients:

| cup | Butter | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 2
| | Egg yolks | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/8
| tsp | Cardamom | | 1/4
| tsp | Allspice | | 2
| cup | Flour | | 1
| cup | Pecans, chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Strawberry jam |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream butter until soft. | | 2 | Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy. | | 3 | Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat hard. | | 4 | Sift cardamom and allspice with flour; gradually add to butter mixture, mixing thoroughly. | | 5 | Stir in chopped nuts. | | 6 | Spoon half of the dough into a greased 8 inch square cake pan; spread evenly. | | 7 | Top with strawberry jam. | | 8 | Cover with remaining dough. | | 9 | Bake in 325 degree oven 1 hour or until lightly browned. | | 10 | Cool. | | 11 | Cut into about 1 ?inch squares |
